The note from the author
As you may have already wondered, there is an usage of AI technology involved in the project of "Arthur Smith And The Skycruisers". But before you classify the work as lame AI music, let the author clarify the scope of AI's application in his work:
First thing to say: The Music is 100% human made. From the begining, including writing and composing, all the way to finishing the songs by recording and mixing. Sounds like a lots of work, doesn't it? but guess what, IT IS. But it's a fullfilling life dream to let your creativity do this magic. And for those who are hopelessly skeptical: Just let some online AI checker do the work for you. All of the music will be classified as "Human Made" by these tests.
But you still want to know how it's done? Now ask yourself: how did Queen do it? Or Bryan Adams? Or Mike Oldfield? Well, they just wrote their damn stuff, went into the studio and freakin' rocked the house! Not five songwriters writing the dumbest crap within a 200 mile radius, no lazy sampling or stealing from old chart hits and no half-naked female vocalists distracting from the cultural abomination they creatied. And That is what Arthur Smith and his bandmates stand for: just real music, even if it's represented by fictional characters. Summed up by the author:

So, who's really behind it then? The short story is: an anonymous Austrian audio engineer and song writer, that is way to rebellious to follow a 9-to-5 job and live the ordinary office life. Maybe also a little too idealistic to believe that the current state pop music is not the audience's fault, but of the fault of the industry that dictates what they should like and listen to.
"Ok, but what's up with the visuals?" yes, you're right! Now that everything has been said about the music, time for the visuals - and yes, these are AI made.
The author is a musician, not an illustrator. But he still had this idea of his own band, his own characters, and a story around them. He couldn't hold his urge for story telling back, and saw the opportunity AI offered to bring his band to live. the author has several plans to employ real illustrators and animators to create music videos and other visuals - But only when the financial situation allows it. So please: keep listening and spread the music out there!
